The position is within a Skilled Nursing facility.
Candidate should possess passion for geriatric population, must contain a license in the state of practice, be able to evaluate and treat independently without direct supervision, and posses the desire to perform functional therapeutic activities to assist residents improve in their experience.
Job Description Completes assessments and implements Respiratory technique to maintain or rehab patient with many different Respiratory illness/diseases and nonrespiratory illness/diseases.
Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment Complete a variety of bedside treatments Work with rehab with respiratory interventions Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly documentation Experience with tracheotomy Experience is a long term care setting Follow procedure and protocol of facility Completes tracking, auditing and caseload management Performs related duties as required QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Graduate of COARC accredited AS or BS Respiratory program.
Licensed as RRT or CRT.
Licensed in the state in which practicing BLS certification.
